We got to check out Parrain’s Endymion float on Saturday.  The kids were in awe of all of the big floats and decorations.  It was a great day!  There were bands, fun jumps, hot dogs, king cake, and balloon animals.  Pretty much a kid’s dream.  Thanks for having us Parrain, Lulu, and of course Queen Olivia!

First Dentist Visit

Dentist (1)Dentist (3)Dentist (5)Dentist (4)

I prepared myself for the worst, but it actually went really well.  Owen only shed a few tears during the actual cleaning.  Other than that he turned on the charm for the dentist and got lots of treats and stickers.  I’m a still in shock of how great he did.  Go Owen!

Papa had to go to Houston for work, so Owen hitched a ride to Texas.  He spent the night at Bon Pa and JuJu’s house and even fit in some quality gaming time with Coke.  Thanks for your services Coke!

Papa’s Lucky Charm

Photogram-20130122100226Golf (3)Golf (1)Golf (5)

It seems that miss Abigail is Papa’s lucky charm on the golf course.  We went along for the ride on Sunday and Papa did very well (with witnesses).  As a kid, I was Bon Pa’s lucky charm so I guess it’s only right that Abigail carry on the tradition.  In fact, the morning that Abigail was born, Papa shot his first eagle.

Bowling

Bowling (7)Bowling (2)Bowling (5)Bowling (6)Bowling (1)

We took Owen and Abigail bowling for the first time and they had a blast.  Abigail was pretty content with just checking everything out.  She did roll the ball down the lane a few times, but she wasn’t very happy that she couldn’t hold the heavy ball by herself.  Owen loved every minute of it.  He started out needing a little help, but he was good to go by the end.
