Not So Traditional Turkey Day

Typical camp morning…we are outside playing by 7 am sharp…per Owen’s demands as soon as he wakes up.Thanksgiving 005Thanksgiving 008Thanksgiving 012Thanksgiving 010

As soon as Owen arrives at the camp he starts asking for the golf cart.

"Bon Pa!  Eh golf cart?” Thanksgiving 022

Showing Papa his “bo-bo”.  His hair was hanging in his eyes (he needs a haircut very badly) so we gave him a “pony”.  He was a mess!Thanksgiving 026 Thanksgiving 027Thanksgiving 030 Thanksgiving 036Thanksgiving 044

He found his old baby bouncer in the closet and insisted on getting in it.Thanksgiving 050

This Thanksgiving was a little untraditional for us.  Everyone went to their in-laws this year and the Andersons were out of town, so we headed to the camp.  Jeff and Bon Pa played golf and then cooked shrimp and crab etouffee outside.  JuJu, Owen, and I went to visit at Grandma and Grandpa’s in the morning and then returned to help fix lunch.  Even though we were short on guests and there was no turkey, it was a great day.  We ate, played, and ate some more.  I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!
