Milestone

Owen hit a huge milestone this Sunday at church…he made it through the whole mass (not in the cry room).  Owen has been a challenge to take to church since birth.  The Cathedral in Houma does not have a cry room and this doesn’t leave too many options when you have a toddler who doesn’t know how to whisper or sit still.  We usually end up standing with him in the back hallway where we can’t see or hear.  I am not sure what got into him this weekend, but he was on his best behavior.  He only had one large outburst during communion…he thought everyone was leaving and he had to tell them “BYE!”  We treated him to brunch after mass to celebrate.  The test will be if he can repeat this same behavior next Sunday…
