Abigail’s appointment at Children’s Hospital was today, so JuJu and Bon Pa came in to help us out. We loaded up Bon Pa’s truck in the morning and headed to New Orleans. The hospital is obviously geared towards children so Owen had more than enough to do while we waited. Abigail’s ultrasound showed that both hips are now in perfect condition. Great news! We will recheck them in 6 months just to make sure, but it looks like we are in the clear. After the hospital, we went to lunch with Addie and celebrated her upcoming birthday. Yes, Owen blew out the candles. All the birthdays in our family have been hijacked by Owen since he turned two. Following the birthday lunch, we headed to Addie’s office for a tour and to make Owen some ear plugs (Addie is an audiologist). Owen has been telling us that the noise of the lawnmower hurts his ears when he and Papa mow the grass so Addie said she would make him some ear plugs. All Owen has to do is ask, and he receives. Our little angel Abigail slept through everything…and Owen is still the center of attention!
