It was Owen’s birthday today and we tried to make it the perfect day for him. We took the day off from work and school, spent the morning in his new “green camping tent”, took a trip to Rouses for a few groceries (a favorite activity for him), and met Papa at the golf course to play a few holes. I can’t believe our little monkey is 3. How time flies!
This kid continues to keep us on our toes and the things that come out of his mouth never cease to amaze us. He is as hard headed as they come and too smart for his own good. He plays hard, laughs hard, and loves even harder. He’s not good at goodbyes. He would live on milk alone if we allowed him to. He tries his hardest to be sweet to Abigail and she just thinks he hung the moon. He loves to be read to and “snuggle time” at night is a must. His favorite saying right now is “two more minutes" (while holding up two fingers). All he wants to watch on TV is “Neverland Pirates”. He is FINALLY potty-trained (for the most part). He is all about rules and can be very bossy. He says “BOO!” every morning when he comes out of his room. He loves to help Papa with projects. His best friend at school is Jude and he talks about him every day.
