I brought the kids in for their check-ups and flu shots today. Let me just say, two kids getting shots at the same time = zoo. They got their shots and everyone was screaming. I couldn’t hold them both so the drama king had to walk. As he walked out of the room, sobbing of course, the nurse asked why he was crying. His response…(still crying, dead serious, and so dramatic) “I think the doctor just sucked all my blood out!” The entire office started laughing and the nurse gave him extra stickers and prizes for being such a good sport, which immediately stopped the tears. We made it home and played outside the rest of the afternoon. Phew!
