Owen had tubes put in his ears and his adenoids removed today. We were at the surgery center for 6:15 am and home by 10:00 am. Everything went smoothly for the most part. He started screaming when we got into our room…I think he knew something was up. They gave him some medicine to relax and after about 10 minutes he was all smiles. He told everyone that came into our room that he was “two!”. The anesthesiologist took him from us and we got him back about an hour later. He was cranky and very sleepy from the anesthesia, but he slowly woke up and asked for his juice and a blue popsicle. He took a nap when we got home and was ready to go when he woke up. Hopefully this will help with his frequent infections and keep us from visiting the pediatrician so often.
